3. Your starting dental health
Assessment may identify dental problems that need attention before cosmetic treatment. These can change both the timetable and the total estimate. A cosmetic quote should clearly distinguish necessary dental care from optional appearance-related changes.
4. Your bite and treatment sequence
Your dentist will consider how your teeth meet and whether another approach would better meet your aims. If whitening or orthodontic treatment is being considered, discuss the sequence before bonding. Existing fillings and veneers do not whiten in the same way as natural teeth.
